Their frontline lacks in leadership thus, giving up their ability to hold the frontline for extended periods of time. With every faction there is a weakness, and Bretonnia’s weakness lies in their weak frontline. Bretonnia is actually one of the few factions that have access to heavy cavalry capable of holding their own in prolonged engagements with infantry. Many of their traditional shock cavalry units have bonus vs large making them come out on top of most cavalry engagements. The Bretonnian unit roster is focused mainly on heavy cavalry, and this is the source of their killing power. Their armies consist of numerous, cheaper peasant units fighting alongside a variety of powerful knights. They are less technologically advanced, but are sheltered and protected by their geography.
